I’m currently using the moisturizing cleanser and I find it super gentle and it doesn’t make my skin feel tight and dry like a lot of foaming cleansers can. So far the SA is working beautifully and my skin feels so great, but I haven't yet reintroduced Retin-A because I'm scared of how my skin might react. CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion is a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer that helps hydrate the skin and restore its natural barrier. I’m only a little on the dry side but it repaired my moisture barrier. It is terrible as a leave on moisturiser and leaves you sticky, but as a soap replacement, it truly is incredible. It made my face sting and made me very scaly. I'll probably still do that, but bear in mind this is skincare R&D for the meantime. When I put the CeraVe PM on my face it’s moisturized for a bit, but feels like as the day goes on my face tends to dry out. My SO hates it—he said it feels like it makes his face oily. I used it and the next day I ended up with 2 cystic pimples starting in an area of my face I don't normally get pimples. It has rave reviews.
